Transteck has an immediate opening for a Outside Parts Representative that would be based out of our Hagerstown location but handle the Frederick, MD. area. .
Job Summary :
We are seeking an Outside Part Sales Representative that will be responsible for maintaining and increasing an established sales region in Eastern Maryland.
This role is a challenging and exciting opportunity for a motivated salesperson to work for one of the largest Freightliner Truck dealers in the United States.
We have the resources to provide you with the best-in-class training, over $5,000,000 in parts inventory, and the support of an experienced inside parts sales team all while working with the leader in large heavy-duty trucks.
T he ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, detail oriented, and a competitively driven individual.
Essential Job Functions
- Call on customers on a regular basis
- Prospect for new customers
- Resolve customer problems and maintain excellent customer service levels
- Meet sales and gross profit margins goals
- Travel with vender reps
- On going training (OEM parts training)
- Up Sell
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 2 to 3 years sales experience preferred
- Detail oriented individual
- Self-starter able to work independently
- Willing to build long lasting Relationships
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Industry experience a plus
- CDK software experience a plus
